rhythmics
Since 1998 she has been connected with the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she was an artistic supervisor of many music-and-movement presentations. She also presented original movement interpretations of music pieces. Among her interests are the essence of feeling music with the body movement, as well as expanding the possibilities of movement expression. For this she looks for various kinds of speaking through movement. In her work she uses elements of modern dance techniques, as well as the results of her own artistic pursuits.
Monika Sojka is a lecturer at the Unit of Rhythmics and Piano Improvisation and she conducts classes in: Movement Technique, Movement Composition, Methodics and Rhythmics Ensembles.
