Information for applying students 2024/2025
Application
The application round for the academic year 2024-2025 is open between April 1 – May 31, 2024. Applications should be submitted on the platform: irk.chopin.edu.pl. 
The applicant has to be a higher education student at an Erasmus+ programme eligible institution, or a student at an institution that has a Bilateral Exchange Agreement with the Chopin University of Music.
Exchange students can apply to the Chopin University of Music either for the autumn semester, spring semester or the full academic year.

Academic calendar 2024–2025 (dates to be confirmed)

• Winter semester October 1, 2024 – February 2, 2025
• Summer semester February 10, 2024 – June 8, 2025

Please mind that the UMFC offers studies in English only on:

• Department of Piano, Harpsichord and Organ, playing the piano (MA level) and
• Department of Vocal and Acting Studies, solo singing (both BA and MA level of studies)
• Majors of studies

Beyond above-mentioned studies the UMFC offers studies in Polish language only. Some individual classes may be taught in English language, this depends on a teacher.
