From 2019 Dean of the Faculty of Dance, Doctor of Humanities, Doctor of Musical Arts, dancer and choreographer. Graduate of the ballet pedagogy specialisation at the Faculty of Music Education of the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (UMFC) (1995), postgraduate studies in journalism at the Institute of Political Science and Journalism of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (2001) and Postgraduate Studies in Cultural Management in the European Union Structures at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (2017). As a lecturer at the Chopin Academy of Music since 1995, from 2012 to 2019 she was the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Choral Conducting, Music Education, Church Music, Rhythm and Dance at the UMFC. Graduate of the State Ballet School in Poznań (1990). Dancer in the T. Sygietyński State Folk Song and Dance Ensemble "Mazowsze" (1990-1995), mime dancer and dance teacher in the Warsaw Chamber Opera (1996-2011). She specialises in Polish national dances. Since 2014 she has been conceptually responsible for the Polish Dance Forum, an event held periodically at the UMFC.

Klaudia Carlos-Machej has continuously worked as a journalist and TV presenter since 1994 (TVP2, TVP Polonia, TVP Kultura, TVP1, TVN, TVN 24, WOT). She is the author of a number of programs promoting dance and music, including the Baletownik series (TVP Kultura) featuring prominent Polish dancers and dancers, as well as broadcasts devoted to the achievements of ballet reformer J. G. Noverre, particularly his eleven-volume manuscript stored in the Drawing Room of the University Library in Warsaw.
