Pianist, chamber musician, teacher, habilitated doctor of musical arts as a professor at the UMFC, specialist in the field of Russian music, author of the book Sonata in the works of Sergei Rachmaninoff, released with two audio CDs. Awarded with Fryderyk in the category "Album of the year - chamber music" (2020), previously nominated twice (albums recorded with Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Tomasz Strahl and Paweł Gusnar). Winner of the 1st Prize of the Polish National Piano Competition Fryderyka Chopina in Warsaw (2000), a versatile performer of solo and chamber works, speaker, organizer, humanist, and a passionate proofreader and translator.

Agnieszka Przemyk-Bryła holds a post-doctoral degree in musical arts and is Associate Professor at the Department of Piano, Harpsichord and Organ at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She graduated from the renowned Mikołaj Rej Secondary School no. 11 in Warsaw,  original classical-profile class. She was a student of Joanna Kurpiowska for 12 years, then she studied at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, class of Prof. Czesław  Stańczyk for two years. In 2004 she graduated with honours from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music (now the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music), where she was a student of Prof. Alicja Paleta-Bugaj (piano) and Prof. Krystyna Borucińska (chamber music). 

Since 2005 she has collaborated (as Assistant, then Assistant Professor) with the piano class of  Professor Alicja Paleta-Bugaj, and since 2007, cello class of Prof. Tomasz Strahl. Since 2016 she has taught piano class at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, and, since 2004, at the Karol Szymanowski Complex of State Music Schools no. 4 in Warsaw.

Agnieszka Przemyk-Bryła has won several prizes and awards at national and international piano competitions, e.g. the 1st Prize at the National Fryderyk Chopin Society Piano Competition in Warsaw (2000), “Youth Stage” award at the Polish Pianism Festival in Słupsk (2001), entering final round of the International Sergei Rachmaninov Piano Competition in Morcone, Italy (2003), or 2nd Prize at the 3rd Andrea Baldi International Piano Competition in Bologna, Italy (2013). She also came second in the Polish Language Olympics and was a finalist of the All-Poland Latin Language Olympics.

Agnieszka Przemyk-Bryła is a two-time winner of the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and Art, she also won scholarships from the ZONTA Club, Culture Foundation, Regina Smendzianka Foundation, and Mayor of the City of Hamamatsu.

The artist took part in numerous piano masterclasses (including at the 9th International Piano Academy in Hamamatsu in 2004), given by Polish and foreign professors, such as Andrzej Jasiński, Marek Mizera, Jerzy Godziszewski, Andrzej Tatarski, Oxana Yablonskaya, Jacques Rouvier, Sergio Perticaroli, Hiroko Nakamura, Karl-Heinz Kaemmerling, Arie Vardi, Dominique Merlet, Alexei Nasiedkin, Evgeni Moguilevsky, Vera Gornostaeva, Lee Kum-Sing, or Nikolai Demidenko.

Agnieszka Przemyk-Bryła has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in many Polish cities (National Philharmonic in Warsaw; Olsztyn, Opole, Silesia, and Zielona Góra Philharmonics, as well as the National Music Forum in Wrocław), and also in prestigious concert halls in Austria, Azerbaijan, China, Czech Republic, Finland, Japan, Germany, USA, Switzerland, Sweden and Italy. In August 2015, she performed during the jubilee 70th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój.

She gives masterclasses for pianists in Poland, Italy, USA, Tunisia, Azerbaijan and China. She sits on the jury of piano competitions in Poland and abroad. She has made many archive recordings for the 2nd Programme of the Polish Radio and Radio Gdańsk, and gave a few performances at the Polish Radio BIS and the American National Public Radio.

The artist collaborates with the National Edition of Complete Works by Fryderyk Chopin Foundation, the Inventio Pro Arte publisher, and she is also a member of the Siberian Chopin Society in Tomsk, Russia, and the National Phonographic Academy.  She regularly gives Chopin recitals in Żelazowa Wola and at the Warsaw Music Society.

In 2004, together with Konstanty Andrzej Kulka and Tomasz Strahl, the pianist recorded complete chamber works by Fryderyk Chopin for DUX. The album won the “disc excepcional” award of the Spanish magazine Scherzo, it was also nominated for the phonographic award “Fryderyk” in the category of  the “album of the year – chamber music”. In 2016, together with Paweł Gusnar, she recorded selected 21st century Polish works for saxophone, also for DUX, and in 2018 she recorded cello sonatas by Zygmunt Stojowski and Ludomir Różycki with Tomasz Strahl for Chopin University Press.

Agnieszka Przemyk-Bryła is an author of the book entitled Sonata w twórczości Siergieja Rachmaninowa [Sonata in the creative output of Sergei Rachmaninov]  which was published with two audio CDs by GRADO, (Toruń, 2014).
