Thesaurus Musicae Sacrae
Thesaurus Musicae Sacrae is a publishing series that is the aftermath of international scientific symposia, as well as symposia on Polish sacred music organized by the Department of Church Music at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. It is the fruit of cooperation between many musical circles focused on the idea of the beauty of sacred music. It aspires to ensure that the views presented in it reflect the diversity of perspectives on music accompanying liturgical rites in the context of its history, present and future, in relation to performance practice sanctified by tradition.
In accordance with the scientific profile of the series, the articles placed in it are reviewed by two independent reviewers, specialists in the field. Articles are published in Polish and in congressional languages. Each text is accompanied by an abstract, key words and the author's biography in Polish and English. The scientific council of the journal is composed of recognized scholars representing prestigious Polish and foreign centers where research on sacred music is conducted.
